Cancellation Policy
If you can’t make it to your scheduled appointment, just a heads up that cancellation fees might kick in for missed sessions. We hold that time for you in our therapist's schedule, and we need to pay them whether you show up or not. To keep things running smoothly, we have a cancellation policy in place. If you cancel with less two business days' notice, you'll be charged the full session fee If this happens a lot or if you miss more than three appointments in a, we might have to pause your future bookings to make room for someone on our waiting list. So, please keep us in the loop about any changes! Oh, and don’t forget, you’ll get a reminder text the day before your appointment. It’s just a friendly nudge about your appointment time not a way to avoid cancellation fees if you decide to cancel last minute.
If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment
If you can reschedule your appointment before the next scheduled time, there will be no cancellation fee. Alternatively, the therapist can use the canceled session time to create resources for the client, provide parent coaching sessions, or write reports with the consent of the parent or guardian. Please discuss your preferences with your OT.
If your therapist needs to cancel a scheduled appointment
If a therapist must cancel an appointment, we will do our best to provide ample notice. goal is to quickly reschedule appointments or, when appropriate, arrange for another therapist to conduct the session. We have handover documents prepared for such situations. The administrative team will reach out to the family by phone to discuss their preferences.
